General NY Kids Club Policies

  • We are a shoeless facility. All adults must wear socks in the facility or use the provided disposable shoe coverings. 
  • Infant siblings may be brought to adult participation classes in a baby carrier. Older siblings who are not in a baby carrier will not be allowed into class.
  • For infant & baby classes only: a limited number of strollers are permitted in the facility to be stored in the designated stroller parking area on a first-come, first-served basis. For independent programs of toddler, preschool and older, strollers are prohibited from coming within the facility due to space limitations.
  • No food, drinks, or gum are permitted in the gym or classroom areas.
  • We are a NUT FREE facility. Please refrain from bringing lunches, snacks, or consuming foods containing nuts while on-premises.
  • All parents, caregivers, and children are expected to conduct themselves in ways that do not threaten the safety or well-being of other parents, caregivers, and children.
  • NY Kids Club is not responsible for any items lost or stolen on the premises of the location.
  • Children enrolled in independent participation classes or preschool must be picked up promptly. The fee for late pick-up is $25 for every 15 minutes that the authorized pick-up person is late. This amount will be charged to the credit card on file. The maximum charge will be $300.
  • NY Kids Club Additional Fees | All NY Kids Club | NY Preschool Programs
    • A 3% convenience fee applies to all installment and payment plans.
    • A 3% booking fee applies to all tuition payments made by credit card. This fee is waived for payments made by cash, check, or ACH.
    • A late payment charge of 2% of any overdue balance will be charged on accounts that are overdue by 30 days or more. If an account is 60 days or more overdue, the NY Kids Club, at its option, may advise parents that their child or children will not be permitted to attend classes until the tuition is paid. NY Kids Club retains the right to collect the full unpaid tuition balance even if the child is not attending classes or is dismissed due to non-payment of tuition.
  • The NY Kids Club Wellness Policy, which states that children showing any signs of illness including but not limited to a runny nose, cough, vomiting/diarrhea or fever may not participate in programs at NY Kids Club. NY Kids Club reserves the right to deny a sick child participation in classes or open play sessions. If a child has a fever of 100°F or higher, they may not return until the fever has been gone for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
  • Force Majeure Clause | All NY Kids Club | NY Preschool Programs
    • NY Kids Club & NY Preschool shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under this Agreement if such failure or delay arises from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, governmental restrictions or orders, labor strikes, transportation disruptions, severe weather conditions, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances (each a “Force Majeure Event”). In the event of any Force Majeure Event which NY Kids Club determines to materially affect its ability to safely and effectively provide any program or service,  NY Kids Club & NY Preschool reserves the right to modify, suspend, reschedule, or cancel any such program or service without prior notice, until such time as the NY Kids Club, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen and/or resume full operations in the manner and capacity as provided or offered by the NY Kids Club prior to such event. 
    • Refunds will not be provided in the case of a force majeure event. However, where feasible, NY Kids Club & NY Preschool may offer alternative arrangements such as rescheduled programming or account credits, subject to availability and operational considerations. Any such alternative arrangements are at the sole discretion of NY Kids Club & NY Preschool and shall not be guaranteed.  
    • The foregoing Policies are effective immediately. NY Kids Club & NY Preschool reserves the right to amend these Policies in its sole discretion.

Refund & Cancellation Policies

Students are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and the cost of classes that have taken place, prior to the end of the third week of the semester. Should you choose to take a NY Kids Club credit, the cancellation fee will be waived. No refunds or credits will be given after the third week of the semester. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the program being canceled, and the reason for the cancellation.

New for Winter/Spring 2025 at 22nd Street and Sutton Place Only:

Families can pay for classes in full or in installments. Families paying in full or in installments are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and the cost of classes that have taken place, prior to the end of the third week of the semester. Should you choose to take a NY Kids Club credit, the cancellation fee will be waived. No refunds or credits will be given after the third week of the semester, and families paying in installments will continued to be charged the installments if they do not request a withdrawal by the end of the third week of the semester. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the program being cancelled, and the reason for the cancellation.

Full year preschool programs can be either paid in full, in 3 installments, or in monthly installments. A 3% booking fee is applicable to all tuition payments and is waived for payments made by cash, check and/or ACH.

When paying in 3 installments, the first installment is due prior to February 5th, 2025 for the forthcoming school year. The second installment is due on February 5th, 2025, and the third is due on May 5th, 2025. A 3% convenience fee is added to all payment plans. 

When paying in monthly installments, 1/3 tuition is due at the time of registration. The remaining monthly installments will be charged on the 28th of each month beginning September 28, 2025, and ending May 28, 2026. A 3% convenience fee is added to all payment plans.

NY Kids Club Afternoon Club is available as either a full year or semester-based program.  

For Full Year Afternoon Club, tuition may be paid either in full at the time of enrollment or in monthly installment payments.    

Tuition for Semester Based Afternoon Club must be paid in full at the time of registration.  

A 3% convenience fee applies if you elect to pay for Full Year Afternoon Club in monthly installments. 

Where tuition is paid in full at the time of registration, partial refunds may be available if you cancel your enrollment prior to the completion of the program.  

In order to be eligible for a partial refund, you must submit a cancellation  request in writing to NY Kids Club at least 30 days before the final date of participation. Your request must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the program being canceled, and the reason for cancellation.  Cancellation is not available within thirty days of the last day of the program.

The amount of any partial refunds will be based on the prorated value of the remaining classes following the effective date of cancellation less a non-refundable deposit for first and last month’s tuition. 

If you elect to pay in monthly installment payments, a non-refundable deposit for  first and last month’s tuition is due at registration.  The remaining payments will be charged on the 28th of each month from September 28, 2025, through April 28, 2026.

For purposes of this policy the first month of the program shall constitute the student’s first four weeks of the program and the last month shall constitute the student’s last four weeks of the program. 

All Afternoon Club monthly payments are non-refundable.  

Transfers of NY Kids Club Afternoon Club registration to other NY Kids Club locations are permitted, pending availability at the desired location.  

Changes to account information or cancellation of recurring payments must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the next billing date.

Fees for Afternoon Club Late Pickup service are non-refundable.

Students are entitled to a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee per day, up to 30 days prior to the day(s) being canceled. Should you choose to take a NY Kids Club credit, the cancellation fee will be waived. No credits or refunds will be processed past this point. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the program being canceled, and the reason for the cancellation.

Camp Early Drop Off is non-refundable. You may switch to early drop off on another day/time; the switch must be done by 4pm the day prior to your scheduled early drop off day. You may also take a NY Kids Club credit.

Birthday party deposits are non-refundable nor transferable to other programs or families. The balance of a party canceled less than 24 hours prior to the start of the party is also non refundable nor transferable to other programs or families. Partial refunds for guest list changes will not be given once the party balance is charged.

Play Packs are non-refundable. They are valid for one year from purchase date and may be transferred to or used for friends and/or family.

Summer Drop-In Packs and Classes are non-refundable. You may switch to a drop-in class on another day/time. You may also take a NY Kids Club credit. Drop-In Packs expire at the end of the Summer Semester.

Event registration for PJ Parties, Weekend Camp, Seasonal Events, and Parenting Workshops is non-refundable. You may switch to an event on another day/time or to a different type of event. You may also take a NY Kids Club credit.

Trial classes are non-refundable. You may switch to a trial class on another day/time; the switch must be done no later than 24 hours prior to the class start time. 

New families are offered 1 free trial class per child to get to know our team and program. Applicable to new families only 1 time per child per lifetime

NY Kids Club credit is non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the refund period for the program from which you un-enrolled has not yet ended. In this case a refund will be given based on the restrictions of the refund policy for the program. All store credit will expire 2 years or less from the issued date.

Make-Up Policies

We allow unlimited make-up classes per semester. Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance with the front desk for any age-appropriate class and are limited to the current semester. No make-ups are allowed during the first week of the semester for all classes. No make-ups are allowed during the last week (two weeks in some cases) of the semester for all independent participation classes.

We allow two make-up Afternoon Club days per semester regardless of the amount of registered days in the program. Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance with the front desk and are limited to the current semester. No make-ups are allowed during the first or last week of the semester.

There are no make-ups allotted for Preschool Prep, 2s, 3s, and 4s preschool programs.

Make-ups for camp may be available based on space availability. In order to be eligible for a camp make-up you MUST cancel your scheduled camp day no later than 8:00 am on the day of the session. Should you choose not to attend your scheduled camp day and fail to call us by 8am, you will forfeit the payment for your camp day and a make-up will not be given.
