Our Creative Play programs are creative, unstructured play programs for adults and children to enjoy together in our beautiful classroom spaces. Children enjoy a variety of enriching activities for the following themes:
Exploring and problem-solving on their own helps kids think creatively and make decisions, setting the stage for future success in school and beyond.
Playtime is also the perfect time to make new friends! As they navigate sharing, cooperation, and empathy, your child learns how to develop healthy relationships – along with the critical social skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
Whether it’s crawling, climbing, or jumping, our play areas let kids move freely, building their coordination, balance, and strength—all while having a blast!
Play is a safe space for kids to express themselves and explore their emotions. Here, they build emotional strength and learn how to handle their feelings in a healthy way.
With no set activities, kids can let their imaginations run wild, creating their own games and thinking up their own stories! This kind of play is crucial for creativity and helps develop flexible thinking and problem-solving skills.
When kids direct their own play, they’re learning to make choices and entertain themselves. This boosts their confidence and independence—key ingredients for tackling life’s challenges on their own!
NY Kids Club’s Open Play & Creative Play offers drop-in play times for ages 5 months – 4 years.
Registration in advance is required for all Open Play sessions.
From the dropdown menu, select your location. Click on the day/time for the Open Play session you want to register and click “More Info”. Click “Register” and select the date and which of your children are attending, and then click “Add to Cart.” Follow the prompts on screen to complete the registration process.
You can register in advanced for any available session.
Yes, you can unenroll until one hour prior to the open play session. Please contact your location to cancel, or login to your account on hisayer.com. Once logged in, navigate to the Calendar page, select the Open Play session you wish to cancel, and click “Cancel Request.”
We will call or email you if a space opens up.
A complimentary Open Play pack expires on the last day of the semester.

You can use one Open Play pass for your own child and use one pass to pay for your friend.
The program provides a large variety of classes including gymnastics, music, art, and STEM activities. In every class we attended, the instructors had a good command of the group and clearly enjoyed spending time with each and every student. Finally, the director is very attentive and knowledgeable. We appreciated the time he took to find the right class that meets for our son’s interests and our family’s work schedules. Thank you NY Kids Club!
