Age-Appropriate Curriculum

Our Infant Milestones class for babies 2-5 months is designed to support the natural patterns of development in infants by fostering growth through music, movement, massage, gentle stretching, and tummy time. Original songs, developmentally-appropriate props, and both energizing and calming infant massage techniques are used each week to stimulate auditory, visual, and physical growth. Nurturing instructors facilitate each class to provide caregivers with confidence, knowledge, and support in a safe and clean environment.

This introductory movement class for your baby 5-13 months is full of age-appropriate activities that promote cruising, crawling, and, eventually, that ever-elusive first step. As an active participant in the class, you will be there every “step” of the way. As your baby builds motor skills on the gym equipment including colorful soft mats and the trampoline, learns through music and sensory props, and enjoys social time with puppets, parachutes and bubbles, you will be there to actively participate. Knowledgeable and engaging instructors facilitate each class to provide caregivers with guidance, information, support and sense of community. This program helps babies develop gross motor skills while building confidence, strength, and coordination through physical exploration in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.

Welcome to Baby Art & STEM Explorers, where babies 5-13 months old and their adults will enjoy exploring a wonderland of engaging STEM and Art activities. Babies and their adults will enjoy being exposed to a variety of sensory activities and art projects led by dynamic instructors. From colorful squish bags, to water play and finger painting, to a “sing-along” with puppets, this program brings learning to life! This program is perfect for adults who prefer to leave the messier projects out of their homes but still cherish creative bonding time. Through the use of innovative materials, playful puppets, and plenty of singing, Baby Art & STEM Explorers keeps babies exploring, creating, socializing, and making new discoveries.

A NY Kids Club music class for children 4-36 months that thrills both children and adults! This educational class features classical music, jazz, rock & roll, and favorite nursery rhymes in a fun, upbeat environment. A professional guitarist and talented singer lead group activities and sing-alongs as your young musician is exposed to new rhythm patterns, melodies, and a diversity of percussion instruments each class session. Musical Tots stimulates important language development and increases music appreciation. This program is fun for both children and their adult and is an adult participation class; one parent or caregiver can participate with up to two children.

How do parents feel about NY Kids Club?

All the adults in the building seem to be trained in the same manner. They use child friendly language while incorporating age appropriate structure and boundaries. The environment is very CLEAN and SAFE. Everything is padded and all the equipment/bathrooms are clearly sanitized. This is a huge plus for us.

My daughter attended the 2s program for the 2023-2024 school year. Our family loved her teachers, the staff, the facility and the programming. Great school!

We LOVE NY Kids Club. My son attended preschool here for 3’s and PKA and we utilized NY Kids Club for after school care both years. They are fabulous. Mr. Nick and team are energized, professional and kind. Even when the staff may rotate (and it’s not that often), they are always high quality. The space also hosts birthday parties. The large gym and trampoline is a big draw and adds to the overall experience. Front desk is also very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Couldn’t recommend them more!

This is our second summer attending drop-in classes at NYKC and we could not be happier with our experience. The staff is incredibly attentive and professional – shout to Ms. Nichole and Ms. Moss! Most of the classes we attended had parents participate; however, today my little guy tried an independent teacher-lead class and Ms. Moss voluntarily helped my son transition while manning the front desk.

My son comes home excited about what he’s learned and eager to share his day with me. Their ability to blend learning and play is exceptional, and I’ve seen my son grow in so many ways because of their dedication and expertise. The front desk staff are equally amazing. They greet us warmly every morning… Knowing that I can rely on them for support makes a world of difference in managing my hectic schedule.

“Our entire family feels so lucky to be a part of this place. Their level of care is unmatched. From the moment we stepped in to ask about their programs to now having spent a lot of time at their beautiful and clean facility we have felt extremely cared for.
