Director
Jesenia’s career has focused on Early Childhood Education for the past 10 years. She began her journey as a volunteer in children’s hospitals where she learned she wanted to work with children. She continued her journey as an Assistant Teacher, Camp Counselor, After Care Counselor, and Lead Teacher. She pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She began her first Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management before realizing her true passion for being in the classroom. She went on to complete her second Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
She has taught students beginning in the 2s classroom all the way to second grade. PreK 3s and 4s hold a special place in her heart. Jesenia feels impacting families and children in a meaningful way is her calling in life.
Children experience independent exploration and social interactions in fun ways at NY Kids Club Third Avenue enrichment classes in Kips Bay.
