NY Kids’ Math, Science & Engineering Classes
NY Kids’ math, science & engineering classes help children develop a strong understanding of the world through fun hands-on experiences. Educator-led activities, such as block building, patterns, counting and other interactive projects teach students the fundamentals of math, science and engineering. These fun learning experiences build math and science skills as well as improve a student’s reasoning skills, so they become better at identifying problems and finding solutions. Basic math is taught through building blocks, puzzles and patterns. Younger children will master concepts like shapes, numbers and measures while older students are introduced to scientific method, theoretical thinking and creative uses for math, science and engineering.

Whatever the child’s age, he or she will be constantly engaged in making new discoveries as they learn how the world around them works. We also offer STEM classes for tots and younger children where kids work closely in a hands-on environment applying concepts of science, technology, engineering and math. STEM adventures include learning exercises, fun experiments, creative projects, songs, games and treasure hunts. Whether kids are counting how many blocks they have, fitting a square peg into a square hole, or watching the weather, children are constantly using and experimenting with STEM concepts. This interdisciplinary approach incorporates different subject areas to enrich learning and inspire students to pursue an interest in these subjects.
