I will follow the policies below while at the NY Kids Club:
- Cell phones, iPads, laptops or other technological gadgets are not permitted in class.
- Food, drinks, and gum are not permitted in class.
- Shoes are not permitted past the lobby area. We request that all adults wear socks in the facility.
- Strollers are not permitted beyond the lobby area; please stow them in the stroller parking area.
- We are a NUT FREE facility. Please refrain from bringing snacks or consuming foods containing nuts while on premises.
- All parents, caregivers, and children are expected to conduct themselves in ways that do not threaten the safety or well-being of other parents, caregivers, and children.
- Adults must remain within an arms length of their child at all times while on the NY Kids Club premises (independent participation programs and drop off events excluded).
- Infant siblings (under 6 months old) of a child enrolled in an adult participation class who are brought to class must be in a bjorn or a snuggly. Older siblings of a child enrolled in an adult participation class will not be allowed into class.
- Children enrolled in independent participation classes must be picked up promptly. If the adult picking is more than 15 minutes late and it is not the first occurrence, the NY Kids Club will charge a $25 late pick up fee. Should late pick up continue to occur, additional charges will be made at management discretion.
I understand and accept:
- That it is my sole responsibility to ensure that the NY Kids Club has the correct and current contact information on file for matters pertaining to the child\'s enrollment in any programs and medical and non-medical emergencies including the signed and updated camp waiver to be kept on file while participating in any NY Kids Club camp.
- That the New York Kids Club may use any photographs taken of me or my child during classes/camp, etc. for marketing, advertising and promotional materials including, but not limited to, display, distribution and/or online.
- The NY Kids Club Wellness Policy, which states that children showing any signs of illness including a runny nose, cough or fever may not participate in programs at the NY Kids Club.
- That the NY Kids Club is not responsible for any items lost or stolen on the premises of the location.
- That the NY Kids Club reserves the right to cancel or modify classes and programs, and/or make changes to instructors and staff.
I agree to the following terms and conditions:
- I certify that my child has no condition that prohibits full participation in activities at the New York Kids Club.
- Adults responsible for the enrolling student realize the risk of injury involved and hereby agree to assume the responsibility of such for their child and further agree to hold harmless the New York Kids Club, its employees, and all others concerned, and to indemnify them against loss.
- The New York Kids Club cooking classes are nut free. I understand that my child will be cooking with and eating a variety of foods. I will provide all the known allergies of my child via my child's online profile or by contacting my location prior to my child's first day of class.
- In case of emergency, if I cannot be reached, I authorize the New York Kids Club, its agents and employees, to contact and secure necessary medical attention for my child. I understand and accept the NY Kids Club refund policies:
- Students are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee per each week of camp being cancelled, up to 30 days prior to the week(s) being cancelled. Should you choose to take a NYKC credit, the cancellation fee will be waived. No credits or refunds will be processed past this point. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and must include the child's name, the adult's name, the details of the program being cancelled, and the reason for the cancellation.
I understand and accept the NY Kids Club make-up policies:
- Make-ups for camp may be available based on space availability. In order to be eligible for a camp make-up you MUST cancel your scheduled camp day no later than 8:00am on the day of the session. Should you choose not to attend your scheduled camp day and fail to call us by 8am, you will forfeit the payment for your camp day and a make-up will not be given'.
