Located on the Upper West Side, just blocks from Central Park and and some of New York City’s best schools, the NY Kids Club and NY Preschool at 89th/91st Street is the enrichment facility of choice for neighborhood families. This location is comprised of two spaces: the main location at 89th and Amsterdam with a state-of-the-art gym and our charming studio space on 91st and Amsterdam.
Maria Matias
María Matías is excited to be your child’s teacher! She loves making children laugh and the way they make her laugh. She also enjoys gardening and giving back to the community. Three words that describe her teaching style are love, care, and structure. She was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and is a Dual Language speaker in Spanish and English. Maria has been teaching for 11+ years throughout ages birth through 5. She holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education with a Bilingual extension. Maria’s mission is to create shared and meaningful experiences that encourage interpersonal interactions with peers; and practices that contribute to building a strong and inclusive community.

Our highly skilled educators provide a learning environment that is rich with interactive tools, full of hands-on projects and loaded with opportunities for creative expression. Located at 89th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, our children’s enrichment classes on New York’s Upper West Side provide fun learning experiences. With expert guidance, kids work independently and together to collaborate and explore the wonders of learning.
